Yesterday, October 16, 2025, the conference \u201cLa Poesia Moderna\u201d held by Professor Claudio Pozzani, a contemporary Italian poet, took place in the state-owned building \u201cCasa degli Italiani\u201d as part of the 25th edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World with the theme \u201cItalophony: language beyond borders\u201d.<\/p>\n

During the event, which was also attended by the Commissioner for Culture and Sport Amb. Zemede Tekle, Prof. Pozzani has declaimed and commented on some Italian poems from the twentieth century to the present day (d’Annunzio, Marinetti, Campana, Pozzi, Pavese, Sbarbaro, Sanguineti and Merini). The poet also recited his poem \u201cA mia madre\u201d, which was also translated into Tigrinya for the occasion.<\/p>\n
