The visa fee is based on the “Quarterly Consular Exchange” rate and varies at the beginning of each quarter (January 1, March 1, June 1, October 1). Payment is made exclusively in the local currency (Nakfa), at the “Quarterly Consular Exchange” rate.
Schengen Visas (Type “C”)
- Adults: 90 euros;
- Children between 6 and 12 years of age: 45 euros.
National Visas (Type “D”): 116 euros.
National Study Visas: 50 euros.
Payment is due upon submission of the application to the Visa Section.
Payment is due regardless of the outcome of the application; therefore, if the application is rejected, the fee will not be refunded.
