On October 23, at the Cinema Roma, the concert “D’Amore e Poesia” by the group “Trinacria – Sound of Sicily” took place, composed of Salvatore Meccio (beaten guitar and vocals), Massimo Laguardia (tambourines, percussion and vocals), Vittorio Catalano (wind instruments and vocals). The trio played several pieces of their own composition, inspired by Sicilian and Neapolitan folk tradition.
The musical evening was attended by Commissioner of Culture and Sport Zemede Tekle, Minister of Tourism Askalu Menkerios as well as members of the Diplomatic Corps and numerous Eritrean spectators.
